I'm outta here...

Just for a few weeks.

Following the (working) beloved to far North QLD for a bit of sun and sand.

I've packed pretty lightly...

(just the essentials)

And even though I'm still full-time parenting, I am optimistic that I'll get some more reading in.
(Not a fiction girl...)

Well folks, it's a funny time of year to be taking a break, what with all that's happening (particularly in Melbourne) during May: stitches & craft, Sew It Together, and various other things that I'm a bit sad to be missing.

Oh well, I'm embracing the opportunity and in many ways this is the perfect time for me to go and stick my head toes in the sand!

See you on the flip side...

  6. gee, I hope Sally hasn't scared you- glad she added the 'if you do see one run in a really exaggerated zig-zag formation and don't climb up a tree. 'tip! What is that all about I wonder!
I read the intro of radical homemakers (free online!!) and it was so excellent (feel slightly like Kylie Mole saying that). Glad you haven't forgotten the essentials- project- check, knickers? Oh no, I forgot the knickers!! Have the best fun. I do so wonder what your beloved does heading off to exotic sounding places!

  7. What I want to know is, why not make like billy-o up the nearest tree? Since when could salt water crocs climb trees? And if so, how the hell has this escaped my knowledge through four visits to FNQ including the Daintree? I think I need to sue someone or somefink.

Have a glorious 'break' lovely lady. Enjoy the feel of that sun on your skin. We'll have definitively broken out the 'winter' by the time you get home...x
